Alan Liu
President and Chief Executive Officer, XPLR Infrastructure, LP

Alan Liu is president and chief executive officer (CEO) of XPLR Infrastructure, LP, a limited partnership that owns clean energy infrastructure assets with a focus on contracted renewable energy projects with long-term, stable cash flows. He was appointed to his current role in January 2025.

In 2021, Mr. Liu joined NextEra Energy, Inc., serving in senior positions in risk management and corporate development. He also has served as vice president for XPLR Infrastructure (formerly NextEra Energy Partners, LP). Before joining NextEra Energy, Mr. Liu served as a managing director in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, where he advised a broad range of public and private companies across the power, utilities, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. His investment banking career also included roles at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC.

Mr. Liu holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago.

Jessica Geoffroy is chief financial officer (CFO) of XPLR Infrastructure, LP, a limited partnership that owns clean energy infrastructure assets with a focus on contracted renewable energy projects with long-term, stable cash flows. She was appointed to her current role in January 2025.

Ms. Geoffroy joined NextEra Energy in 2018 and has held financial leadership roles for NextEra Energy and XPLR Infrastructure (formerly NextEra Energy Partners, LP). She served as senior director, finance for the partnership and as director of investor relations for both NextEra Energy and the partnership. Ms. Geoffroy also was executive director, NextEra Energy Investments and, most recently, executive director, origination for NextEra Energy Marketing. Earlier in her career, she held various finance and investment roles, including in energy equity trading and venture capital and as a founding member of clean energy debt and private equity funds.

Ms. Geoffroy has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Columbia University and two master’s degrees, one in energy & the environment and the other in business administration, from Yale University.
